A train of airships arrives at the bay on Colossus Hub. They come to relieve and resupply the Elysian crew of scientists who are trying to restart the ancient terraforming machine.

Here's a view of the entire station.

The Hub concept was heavily inspired by :iconstingray-24:
The airship train was inspired by :icononi-defense:
Thanks so much for the inspiration guys!:)

I have seen that you have created worlds, people, actually a whole different reality. The cool part, is that even in knowing that you have created a verse of your own, and yet seeing this.... well it instantly allowed me to let my own imagination go to where I wanted it to. It also made me thist for what happens in a place like this, what is the plot, this must be a movie!! ;) lol Ahem...

You get the "Fierce imagination award" that's for sure! No trophy, no prize, just admiration, and respect!!!

Wow! thanks! Yeah, my favorite art is art that make me want to create. I'm glad my work has that effect on you!

Yeah, no movie yet but I'm always up for role play. If you want to create a character and explore, I'm pretty good at making up what happens, As much as I love to create the art, sometimes role playing in Rodinia make's it seem even more like a real place.

But I know RP is not for everyone, so I won't be offended if you don't want to play.

I'm really glad you seem to get where I'm going with my world!:)

This is so cool its giving me ideas for making it in 3d. If thats ok and if I do it 'll credit you for the awesome design.

That would be awesome! I did a color version that has a little more depth.[link]
But it would be so cool to see it in actual 3D.

Yes the colour one is nice. The line art one is more useful for modeling, strangely enough. Anyway I may give it a try, I'll keep you informed.

Cool! And I'm glad the line art is more useful.
I think I still like line art the best.

Well if you can draw it. I can certainly build it. Provided its not a character or creature, I suck at organic 3d models.

Cool! Here's a design for my dream ship. [link]
No pressure to do a 3d model though.:)

Yep. Its cool.:-) I think you should go more retro with the interior though. Make it a bit like the inside of the Nautilis from 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea film. It looks really cold and spartan inside there. You need paintings, plants and big pipes with draperies and couches. Yes thats mad!
Oh and a chandelier as well!

That would be awesome!
With like big bolts in the walls and lot of brass pipes.:)
I hope I don't lose you on this one but here's the pilot, kinda my alter ego [link]
He does like his creature comforts.:)

This station is so amazing dude. I am in love with all this details and machines you have done. I mean, everything seems to have sense. If someone manage to build this, it would have some kind of "sense". The machines would work. Are you an Engineer?

Ha ha, no I'm only an imaginary engineer.:)
The laws of physics are to restrictive for my tastes!:)
I do like to make "believable" fantasies though.
I think when I saw Star Wars as a kid the fact that the space ships were all beat up and dirty really impressed me.
Made it seem like the Millennium Falcon was a real ship!

I like this kind of engineery. I think the same about the laws indeed. You know? I have noticed that the drawing slooks better when they have some "sense", when they are "believable", and that's what makes it look so great. I have noticed that in your works. :)

The millenium falcon? Ohh the one of Han Solo! :) I liked that ship, but was too square for me. The design was very awesome indeed. Have you saw the art of Final Fantasy XII. Probably you will like it. The ships are magnificent! :)

I've heard the ships are cool in Final Fantasy.
Yeah, believable fantasy is the best.
Like Lord of the Rings, no tech but the world seemed so believable.

Ohh yeah, talking about final fantasy. This is what i am talking about: [link] :) I wish i could draw something like that. :XD:

Check out this guys ships [link]
I always tend to incorporate a balloon into the design but you can really go anyway you want to with the design.

I have heard that in Steampunk the ballons over the arships are something VERY POPULAR and in some way necesary in order to make the ship very "mechanic" or in that style. Ilike it. Have you saw the serie FullMetal Alchemist? :)
