I'm sorry if you misinterpretated my comment but I was referring to the music seeing as it is Woodstock. I envy the music back then. In today's society a largy majority of the music is synthesised and repetitive. There are some good artists out there but sadly alot of them are overlooked. Back then, songs were sung and played from the heart and I'm afraid I just don't get that same feeling with today's music.

Anyhow, going back to your statement; It's simple really. Back then, in the 60s, 70s and even 80s you could live your life simply and if you didn't do so well at school, you would atleast have the comfort of knowing there will always be a job for you and you could be content with the fact that you tried your best. Nowadays, unemployment rates are gradually rising and there is alot more pressure on kids such as myself to push ourselves to the absaloute limits. Not that that is a bad thing but we also need to live our lives aswell instead of worrying about our futures all the time.

I could go on with a thousand more arguments but I won't bore you with them and my mutual facts. Lmao!

I envy the people who were teens in this era. So different to today's society...

really? says who?
a decade where conformance was apposed by kids dressing, acting and living different to what was in general practice to be considered accepted?......
lol this could be taken to a whole new level of argument... but whats so different from then and now other then advancements in the technology that could be used to express opinions?

I hate to nit-pick, but that heavy metal hand gesture those guys in the crowd are doing, the demonic Beavis and Butthead thing, thats wrong.. If it were 1969, that wouldn't have even been invented yet... lol I'm a loser I know.

It did exist, actually. On the Beatles 1969 album "Yellow Submarine", John Lennon can be seen making the gesture.
