Xunnis is struggling with his Earthlingo (ha! just this instant made that up!), but he seems to be nice...although maybe Venna won him over in a way she failed to do with his daughter. More of which later. Here, Geezur is getting left out of the proceedings, but is left baffled and, for once, speechless by the way the situation has turned around. Next time: The Countess! (Formerly known as The Baroness)
my daughter is a mystery to me also
Cool interaction, and unexpected given how unruly these folks have been. Venna looks lovely, as always.
We'll find out later why they're so wild, but this guy, being the only older member of the tribe has maybe been through things that have given him a degree of wisdom. More pieces of the puzzle will be provided as we go along.
The Chief seems to be a nice guy
I think he is - seems there's not a lot he can do about the behaviour of the tribe, except to moderate it in such a way that they'll survive the invasion of the earth people.
Eat some Alpha Bits Your Majesty Or a bowl of alphabet soup
Hmmm, I find myself thinking maybe Princess N felt she had to put on a display of "official grief" for the tribe. Might of been impolitic to say the tribal "He's dead, thank goodness!" And dang, Venna looks so sweet and princess like here.
That's not bad at all, but not the case. When we come back to this sequence (we're off out into space for a while to see how The Countess and her entourage are getting on), all will be explained. And, yes, I think Venna looks very pretty here, and for the chief to have taken her for any kind of princess is understandable.
Nice to see a thoughtful alien ruler. GREAT expressions, grouch Krog, and Venna cleavage.
I think he has something of a weight on his shoulders...I don't think he really believes in this male superiority rule, but sticks with it because it makes things easier for him. I'm sure Venna will ruffle everyone up!
Heh, Geezur is so confused now.
How can anyone stay mad at Venna for long??
