ROAN
(Rr active) (RR dominant)
Roan - A white 'haze-y' marking that sits atop the Felvarg's coat along the withers and general dorsal area. The haze should have holes in it which we consider 'corn spots' that make it easy to distinguish at a glance. Much like the gene in horses and dogs, roan is fairly realistic.

Roan has a minimum requirement. It does not need to fill the red range, as it must only be visibly present and clear. Roan cannot be present in the grey ranges as it is an illegal marking range.
Roan is an off white/grey cloudy shade that lays over the back of a Felvarg. Roan must have a few distinguishable corn spots, enough so that its visibly portrayed as roan. Corn spots must be soft and cannot resemble any other markings. Roan may have a break between the head and neck, however both patches must remain solid enough to be recognized.

- Fields displayed in red are required to be present regardless of marking use.
- Field in blue are optional and display the maximum allowance for the marking.
- Fields in grey are illegal ranges.

Hereditary Roan
In order for a geno to retain it's special Hereditary Roan color once uploaded the design must visually reflect it, unless modified by a marking or mutation which effects their color.
Chocolate Roan
Chocolate roan is a hereditary form of roan that may only appear on brown or black coated Felvarg's, and their variants. Chocolate roan can only be used if the direct parent has it, and if the offsprings base coat is a form of brown and black. This marking must be some shade of natural brown.
Strawberry Roan
Strawberry roan is a hereditary form of roan that may only appear on silver and cream coated Felvarg's, and their variants. Strawberry roan can only be used if the direct parent has it, and if the offsprings base coat is a form of silver and cream. This marking must be some shade of natural pink.
