Base coat color determines the color of your Felvargs foundation.
The chosen base coat color must reflect against your official genotype.

__________ Specialty base colors are hereditary
and can only be obtained by breeding with specific Felvargs who carry the coat mutation. Specialty base coats are a spin off/mutation of a usual coat color and are extremely rare.

Breed FCr to Cr/CR/FCr.
Breed FBr to Br/BR/FBr
Breed MBk to Bk/BK/MBk
Base coat modifiers
are uncommon, they alter the base coat color to a different swatch depending on what base coat modifier is present.
Obtaining both Ashen and Dilute on the same genostring creates a mutated base coat modifier. This mutated modifier is known as Helix.
dominant) - Guide: Helix
markings are entirely optional but allow members to customize their Felvargs.
are physical changes that are made directly to an official Felvarg import. They are titled mutations given they mutate the otherwise untouchable lineart by allowing extensions.
Submissive Lines (Free)
Physical mutations allow for an additional use to the item 'accessories', allowing for custom lineart for the above provided they meet the same general placement and concept. This means you can extend say Silken Cheeks, to allow the cheeks to drag on the ground, or perhaps alter Feathered to be more suitable for your current coat type.
dominant)Reversal | GuideReverses
all markings to their illegal ranges. Please see each markings guide to see how reversal is handled.
dominant) Bicolored | Guide
Allows for two base coat
colors from the same swatch to manipulate the base.
dominant) Mosaic | Guide
Allows for what appears similar to black pinto
to cover a portion of your Felvargs design.
dominant)Tainted | GuideDesaturates
the markings/base coat of a Felvarg, allowing for a blue/tainted tinge to the design.
dominant)Sunkissed | Guide
Alters the base/markings to that of a special set of golden creamy swatches.
dominant)Moonkissed | Guide
Alters the base/markings to that of a special set of moonkissed blue grey swatches.
dominant)Blessed | GuideAlters the base/markings to that of a special set of reddish grey swatches.
If Tainted, Blessed, Moonkissed, or Sunkissed are present on the same Genotype the user may choose which swatch they would like to use, or even use all those present.
Mutations are extremely rare marking modifiers
, each mutation will have its own effects, these effects will be broken down in detail in each respected guide. Mutations are exceptionally rare and are not hereditary, this means obtaining one is purely luck of the draw.
(Def active) (DEF dominant)
The Defiance gene when present allows mutations present to show markings that would usually be shielded beneath the mutation, to now freely show above it.
Chimera is a genetic mutation that causes two genotypes to present in the same Felvarg.
Albinism causes the entire coat to take on a soft white hue, shielding all markings. Allows the Felvarg to have true red/pink eyes.
Cross mixes black and its crossed color together creating a very unique base coat shield. While cross covers most all markings
some can show above it however it is optional to do so.
Melanism causes the entire coat to take on thick black coat, shielding all markings. (Optional few show through!)
An extremely rare genetic mutation that causes the entire coat to take on soft creamy hues
, altering the color of all markings to an off white/brown shade.
Seasonal MarkingsSeasonal markings are earned during special events/seasons.
They cannot be bred in the breeding roller outside of their season and during their season are applied to the breeding roller like normal.Design Guide: Seasonal Markings
[LAYERS BUTTON HOLDER] Each marking available interacts with other markings differently, most importantly each marking can often appear above or below other markings. We have included a list of markings below, this list will clearly state which marking appears above or below each marking. Please read each category to better understand how markings work with one another.
Markings in this category cover all markings listed below them!
Layer the first category from top to bottom unless otherwise noted.
Domino Free White *
Shadow Free Black * Tipped *
* Please note free white, free black, shadow and tipped may appear in any order with one another!
Markings in this category are covered by pinto, patchwork, appaloosa, mosaic, skew, domino, free white, shadow, free black, and tipped.
Markings in this category can cover one another in any way so long as each marking is visibly present!
Dusted Sable Roan
Merle Splash Highlights Maned Stitch
Hooded Overlay Faded Accents
Markings in this category are covered by any marking present above it in all other categories!
Markings in this category alter the base coat in some way, and so they are present below all other markings.
The above four * selected markings are marking alterations. They are not shown above nor below one another but at free choice of the designer.
Markings in this category are marking Modifiers!
Markings listed below alter the existing markings above in some way.
