I didn't immediately post a review for Ne Zha 2, because I knew what was bursting in my heart and I didn't need to document it. I feverishly typed my fan fictions over 4 days and the proof is in those puddings, but since Reddit offically made a movie thread and I typed a generic review, I want it on my DeviantART too.This is my new favourite animated movie of all time. It was emotional, laugh out loud funny and maybe a bit too epic. Watching 30 minutes of ads, plus the 2.5 runtime was too much for my overstimulated brain. Shen Gongbao was already sympathetic in the first one, but him being recontextualized as looking out for both his dad and brother stole the show. Also for only really appearing at the end, the Dragon Kings were my favourite part, with their designs and lightning fast choreography.

My 16 year old Westie died today, so I'm making a journal to remember her by. I only uploaded one photo of her, so I might as well highlight that one. She's probably only one years old on here. The hooman is my sister and the 'avian' is Charlie. Charlie is the patriarch, he came first in 2007, and Bella was the 'matriarch' of the house. Coming one year after. I like using those serious titles, I find it funny.

Why not? I'm recording this for posterity, but I got a Star Trek Lower Decks recommendation on my Youtube feed late at night, so after years of resisting the crude show I watched it because it was a Deep Space Nine episode. It wasn't bad and I was impressed by how the show evoked nostalgia so well, even if you'd never seen it. I got to know the characters more than I ever did from cherry picking DS9 episodes and seeing them in passing. Quark got the most character development/screentime and was very endearing to me, so after the 'chore' of watching LD, I watched the episode where he thinks he's dying, isn't, orders a hit on himself, but then it doesn't happen. And that's when the rabbit hole began I wikied his nephew, I wikied Quark. I watched a villain having a mental breakdown much sooner than I'd 'earned it', I watched new episodes, rewatched an old one. It was well past midnight and my eyes were physically hurting, I was begging myself to stop, but it was so worth it. DS9 is
