Just a little observation about the Mighty Ducks (the animated series) characters and their hands of choice. (Random, yes, but interesting.)
I don't quite know what got me started on trying to figure out which hand each of the Ducks primarily use, but I got started and that's that (it may have been a fanfic by FishyFloat a.k.a. :iconsulana:, but I don't know ). Anyway, looking at the series, some awesome uploads by Mari-Lwyd on Tumblr (again, a.k.a. :iconsulana) and some info on ice hockey found on en.wikipedia, I've found that Wildwing and, more than likely, Nosedive are both left handed.
Wildwing I'm pretty sure about in this instance as he catches left (according to his collector's card) and his puck launcher gauntlet is on his left; his ice shield is on his right (you generally would hold your shield in your weaker hand and your weapon in your stronger hand; that's the logic I'm using here).

While they talk, a puck is shot between and in the goal. They both look at the goal and then back at the shooter
Mallory: Don't chatter with your teammates while the game is still playing
