Description

Atop a shallow lake where tiny flames wander live the pyromancers. They are an eccentric folk, which is probably caused by the fumes that come from the lake.

While their powers had long ago vanished, reduced to more practical and less flashy methods of pyromancy. One day they saw a new star in the sky, and along it, their ancestral powers had returned.

Record 4: Torchbearer

Much has changed since the night of our revitalization. Even as we began to rediscover old techniques, we find illumination in unexpected places.

We know not how it has come to us, but many began discovering unique quirks and abilities that haven't been seen in centuries.

I myself began experiencing the world in ways outside of natural perception. Distinct glimpses and sensations of places I had not seen. The Elder's believe my power to be a gift more complicated than I first believed.

Many see this is a sign of our reconnection to our ancient forerunners. We are the new Torchbearers. Perhaps the deeper secrets of the land are becoming known to us.

I'll take note of these visions. Maybe an expanded view will help in discerning these mysteries.
