Thanks :) What you are describing there is composition, it's a facet of art that is often invisible, but you'll know when it isn't applied correctly!

Yes! I've studied composition many times before. it's a wonderful concept, and feels very satisfying to apply correctly! I don't think I have quite the experience you do though, and will definitely be practicing it more.
