I said I'd try to conquer dryspells for 2013, but I've gone 2 months without posting anything for you guys. Which is probably my quest for commissions on this site has been utterly fruitless.
Such a mess. I haven't been this bad since 2009. Maybe I've just run out of ideas or something. I still have that story in the works but it goes untouched for weeks at a time. Plus I'm sorta getting stretched thin between some obligations with various groups of friends and other shit such as job-hunting and whatnot. But in the end, I'm just not inspired. I've gotten nothing productive done in weeks, and it's pissing me off. Things I do draw are unsatisfactory, so I scrap them. I might just break down and draw some old shit so I can say I did.
But yeah, just trying to reconfirm my continuing existence.
I'm sorry man. I know how it feels to not post art for awhile. It sucks, it really does. I think I know what your problem is. Maybe you've forgotten why you started doing this in the first place. I mean, started writing stories and doing artwork and such. It's happened to me before, and after thinking long and hard about why I even started doing this in the first place, I found that I had gotten my motivation back. I think what you need to do is try to remember what made you want to do this in the first place, and use that to motivate you. I know it's not the best advice, but I hope it helps at least a little.
