Soo, yeah, I promised you all a story this month. This month is almost over. I bet you're asking "Hey, faggot! Where's that fucking story!?"
I've neither forgotten nor abandoned the project. It's just between a few major distractions and just generally feeling uninspired, I haven't been getting to it as of late. I'm sure you've all heard the "art feels like a chore" excuse a squillion times so I'll just say that I'm both lazy and have been dealing with some less-than-enjoyable shit lately, especially that I'll probably never see my two terriers ever again. They were good dogs, but they needed to be somewhere where they can get better care since, let's face it, Jack Russel Terriers are too perpetually spazzy for me and my sister to handle. Our mutt and cat are still here, though. They're pretty laid back.
But yeah, figured you all deserved a status report. Sorry for my lack of updates. Was hoping I'd get over these dryspells for 2013. Guess not.
Sorry to hear that man. Life's tough, and an artist's life is no better. The excuse of "I don't feel like it" is actually a legitimate excuse when it comes to doing art. It's nearly impossible to sit down and do it when you're not in the mood. But hey, you just gotta be proud of what you HAVE done. I remember before I really became an artist I would always read your stories and just get so immersed in them. And I HATE reading. I'd be excited for the next chapter of Aisu and Ruby's story, and I'd really connect with the characters. You're a great artist man. You really are. Just remember that.
