I color your name,
tattoo your body;
it keeps us connected.
Lips reach for the words,
stutter and stumble;
you will never hear them.
Poems on your skin,
do you feel my pen
trying to find your heart?
tattoo your body;
it keeps us connected.
Lips reach for the words,
stutter and stumble;
you will never hear them.
Poems on your skin,
do you feel my pen
trying to find your heart?

I'll write poems you'll never read, but you'll wear their words.

I have often wondered if writers feel love more deeply than others; say, those who are shy toward pen or pencil. Maybe it is a matter of not only having the words, but having the ability to write them down that makes all the difference. That said, what a grand thing for you to be a writer.
