Aang Wants Custard by TheLordofPies Aang Wants Custard by TheLordofPies
Let's call this a test, because I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. So, I recently downloaded a vector making software called "Inkscape", and I made this based on a drawing I did a while back. I've never made a vector before, so it was a fun test. I uploaded the file here as an svg, then put a png version of it for the preview, but I have no idea what'll happen.

This is a drawing of Aang, from Avatar: The Last Airbender, making what has to be my favorite face in the whole series. "Is that egg custard in that tart?" Ahaha, haha, ha. Love it. Anyway, I can not find for certain what color Aang's eye's were. I've heard blue, grey and brown. I went with brown, because that's the first I saw, so I'd already drawn it as such. Never been much for digital art, but I'm glad I gave it a try. EDIT: Changed to grey. Cuz I said so. Well... More like Cuz army in the comments said so, but... Meh, whatever.

Yeah, this isn't pony, but I love Avatar too. Just not quite so much. I had fun making this, so maybe I'll do more in the future.

Also, any of you veteran vector makers, I'd love some hints and/or tips, pointing out of flaws, or other things that need improvement, just... You know, cover all the bases. I'd appreciate it a lot.

Oh, and even if you aren't a vector maker, I'd still love some feedback, negative or positive, it all helps me improve.

Edit: I also finally found out how to get a clear background. Woo.

Aang's eyes are grey. Nice job, though! : )

Yeah, I keep finding conflicting sources. It's inconsistent in the show, though most likely the difference is due to lighting. The picture I used for reference looked brown, so I went with brown. Do you think I should change it?

If you want to stay absolutely true to the show, I might change it. But otherwise I don't think it matters.
Yeah I've noticed that a lot too- at one point his eyes literally change mid-frame. LOL.

That's why I love it so! Funny expressions are way more fun to draw than tame ones. The original scene can be found here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJstRh…
