I am the nymph of the marine
Powerful and strong
With slippery scales emerald green
And tail sleek and long
From an ancient undiscovered race
I live to rule the sea
No other creature has such grace
Lovliness and purity
I'm neither fish nor human
I'm unequaled, unique
Nothing swims like I can
No dweller of the deep
The sea entire is mine to roam
I've everywhere to hide
In my elysian ocean home
Beneath the bounding tide
