After 9 years of using internet explorer, i finally switched to firefox. i have already customized my ff2 (deleted all icons and unnecessary items), and now here is the public version.

thanks.
i kinda did it myself now using the latest version, but the tabs still looks default, i wouldnt know how to change that. guess one have to make a new theme then, which sucks :p

I also wanted to say thanks for doing all this. Seeing how to use the userchrome.css to modify FF2 has been a great learning experience for me. I've done a bit of tweaking of it myself [colours & spacing] a bit. By the tabs not changing, I meant that it still shows an icon instead of just an "x".

Thanks again,

it's ff2 portable. i don't know if it works or not with normal ff...you can replace the files but i don't know... haven't tried it.

is it only the userchrome.css file that needs replacing to implement this? I tried just replacing the userchrome file and everything looks and works fine except for the tabs still didn't change.

I can't wait for this iconless thing.

So this only works with Firefox portable?

tutorial? oh noes. that's a lot of time. maybe once, but not now. anyway, 80% done. (but without extensions.)
doing this with only userchrome.css is a lot of time and work. it's easier for me to delete, hide things inside the *jar files...

Excellent! I use portable firefox [iconless too] but not as kustomized as yours. FF is great. Maybe a tutorial too on how you customized it? My biggest question is how did you clean up the tabs like that [aka removed the fugliness]?
