The Wither

The Wither is a new mob being worked on in minecraft. Originally you could spawn it with an egg but now you can spawn it in an iron golem like form. This thing will attack anything peaceful. Will give you a new type of poison effect called wither. Once it loses half of its health it gains a arrow shield. Oh and it flies. Coming in Minecraft 1.4

There is also a Wither Skeleton.
