I found a bunch of art supplies that my sister had to buy for school but never used and I stole them hehehe (she knows so it's not really stealing).
Among these, I found oil pastels. I barely know how to use pastels, even less oil ones, so I searched for tutorials to understand how I should use them.

I'm pretty happy with how this turned out!! I love the textures and the colors are so vibrant with oil pastels! I am not sure the texture of the cake cardbox I used is the best because it was not easy to achieve an homogeneous coloring (as you can see the gaps in the sky) but I have a lot of recycling stuff that I need to use eventually instead of stashing everything so xD

I also feel fascinated by the fact we can apply two layers of color and scrape the top one with a toothpick (or something sharp) so the color underneath appears. I think this technique worked pretty well to simulate the water effect!! But all and all, I still need more work with this medium XD I wasted almost all the blue pastel (these were the cheapest materials we bought back then so I was expecting it) and I used all colors too, just for the sake of experimenting. I still don't understand how I can mix them well (because water doesn't work as this is oil) but I'm continuing to practice eventually.

Oh, and this scenario is based on a screenshot I took from RDR2 during my gameplay, months ago. I turned it into more "dreamy" rather than real because 1) I have little to no-practice concerning oil pastels and 2) I am compelled by these "fantasy" landscapes that could exist in real life but don't actually exist :'D

Here's also a random landscape I did using soft pastels (which are very similar to when I used makeup to color xD). I didn't love the outcome of the practice but it was fun to try (and quite despairing with lot of color everywhere, including my desk, clothing, hair, computer... you get the idea XD)
