Desperate for coffee
Hurry hurry! I tried to restrain myself from yelling as I shoved open the door and leaped out of the car. I ran for quite a distance before realizing I didnt know my way around the mall.
I turned to look at Annie and Odel who were rushing over from behind. We have 10 minutes! I informed them though we were sure to be late for class anyway.
Yes! Just chill, okay? panted Annie as she led us past unopened shops and swerved into a corridor. I saw the welcoming Starbucks mermaid before Annie pointed at it to us. A janitor who was sweeping paused to look at the 3 crazy girls dressed in pajamas and ballet stockings race determinedly towards the coffee shop.
Annie pulled at the glass door; it budged a little but refused to open for us. Fortunately, Odel went to the other side of the shop and found another entrance that wasnt locked.
We walked half uncertainly into the empty shop. A woman wearing a blue office shirt and black pencil skirt greeted
