As we stand in the dark The chasm growing wide The onslaught of the rain The only sound that reaches our ears As the unspoken lies between us I see your fears You see my baggage I see your hurt You see my scars And on this night You choose to stay where you are To not cross the torrent And I the same For fear of pulling you Towards more pain But don't mistake my stillness For lack of interest Or concession That confirms the view That you are not my obsession Sometimes to cross Requires a different route And feelings however strong Must still without a shout And when the storm ends If the call is still strong Then I will be here As I've been all along But this time I won't engage the dance If you seek to make the bridge Then you must take the chance

My Bio

When I first made this account my bio stated something about me liking rock music, enjoying life, and asking for cool movies or something. Though these things are true I'm so much more complicated now. Everyday I struggle to make it through the week. And some days I need a place to think. A Morbis Mentis if you will. My poem "Rambling" told of my goal to get in the USAF. I'm proud to say I did that. Thank you for the support I was given. Now I'd like to make brand new things. I think my style is changing and I want to share that with the greatest community of writers I know.

Recently, I have been coming onto some rough times. So rough that I've forgotten what I love to do whenever my stress levels get too high. That is I've forgotten to write. Poetry, books, songs, you name it, I forgot to write it. And the crazier part is the things I did write I didn't share. So I'm going to post some of this stuff that I happened to have kept up. Please understand that it was written in a period of my life when my fear of isolation couldn't be any higher. It was utterly painful, so the pieces themselves are not my brightest work. A Grim Reality

I learned today that foolish naivety in your enemies can lead to your destruction. Let me tell you my account of the story. I have been seeing my girlfriend for about 3 months. Now recently, a student transferred to the school. His name is Ozzy, but I call him pretty boy because he looks like a backstreet boy poster. Anyway, he developed feelings for my girlfriend and constantly made it known that he wanted us to break up. I should have dealt with him then, but she begged me to ignore him and so I did. *Testing...Is this thing on. Oh, Hi everybody. After a very long hiatus (ie. no updates to speak of whatsoever) the cat is back with a brand new set of material. Honestly I left for ----reasons. Now there's----no-----nee----to------pa------nic. I--------'m sure you------'ve----been fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine. (Pauses to adjust internet connection.) So I'm going to start cranking out some new material and get back on track to my previous of trying to post one a week. I'm no longer limited to poems. I'm also doing short stories and I'm thinking of doing a novel. When I start the book I'm going to let everyone here get a link to read it as it grows. Your feedback like always is appreciated. (What do you mean the Lunar Turtles are attacking?!) So anyways I gotta go. Ta ta for now. (Run for your lives! hey have jetpacks!!!)
