Wasn't Scootaloo technically the first Dashite? Since they were named after Dashie for "abandoning" the Pegasi.
Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing. Dash was just Dash. Scoots was the first Dash-ite.

Oh, and as for the background, you can't do anything until dA fixes it. In a recent update, they changed the way preview images were generated. They no longer respect transparency and just throw in a random colour, usually black, in the background.
I recommend contacting support and letting them know you don't like it. It's what everyone else is doing, and if enough of us complain then maybe they will fix it.
