whenever I was taking a brake at work I kinda gotten into a bunch of videos from a youtuber named The Rpg Monger

this guy has a series called “the fandom files” and I was curious to know about other fandoms that I wasn’t a part of,

needless to say I wasn’t surprised; all fandoms are bad

but I liked this guy’s reviews cause he wasn’t some typical reviewer that just says that a fandom is bad cause it has porn and ships in it, he himself says that such things exist in all fandoms and that you don’t really need to care as long as they’re not hurting anyone with it;

it’s those that harass others phisically and verbally that are the scums

but damn, some the stories in some fandoms are fregin disturbing

go check em out if touchy subjects don’t bother you much

While the guy says good points and really "weird stories" of different fandoms. Sometimes the message that I "see" feels like he is trying to say "this thing is really bad, there are good people in that fandom but is not important. Maybe is just me but I remember an UT video of him and it seemed to me that the message wasn't really a different one that other people saying the same about fandoms. But maybe ir was just me.

And yeah, sometimes I can enjoy been inna fandom because someone starts saying things like "cancer" (I really hate this word when is used like that), or something "this fandom is bad". Seems like every "famous" game these days is automatically "bad". Like geez, that kind of stuff is everywhere and is not even hurting anyone. Things like "Kids can see rule 34", well, the problem aren't the artists, the parents are the ones that have to take care of that and I don't think that a kid is going to search...i don't know "Ms. Chalice porn". And when I see things in YT like "FNAF Cringe compilation" and they have images like drawings made by kids, ships or crossovers, like dude, not everyone is good and drawing when they start, ships are just fictional and crossovers? crossovers are bad now or what?. You see crossovers like "Mario x Kirby" and that is fine, but when there are crossovers like "Cuphead x Undertale" OH NO, THAT IS TOTALLY BAD AND DIFFERENT.

I like the internet but these things are everywhere and is really hard to me to enjoy anything. Gladly there are people like you that aren't just people that NEED to hate something. You do what you like and that is fine. Because sadly I saw a lot of people talking shit about your Batim AU. Well, at least seems like there is some people that don't lose their time hating everything.
