Wolves May Come In Any Guise-Pg1
Cover art for a comic I'm planning to do on representations/histories of wolves the world over. These animals have garnered so much attention and have been portrayed in so many fascinating and often contradictory ways that it's astonishing! It's like you can read the history of humanity through what we've thought about wolves!
Not His Eyes Any More
Kind of late birthday gift for the amazing :iconoddeum: of her character Bishop, who goes through some pretty bad stuff, to say the least. This is more symbolic than literal, but you'll have to read her story "Narrow Ways" when it comes out to find out more :D
Heeeeey Monster Ladies!!!
Woo! First art of 2018, and it's a present for some friends. The world is sorely lacking in good monster ladies, but YOU ladies really come up with some great ones

Starring (from left to right):
Glacier by :iconglacierdragon:
Shadow Lady by :iconkryoschi:
Serendib by :iconoddeum:
Watership Finn
"All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you.
But first, they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning;
Be cunning and full of tricks, and your people shall NEVER be destroyed."

Cor blimey you folks, I really love Finn from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and I was excited to hear that the actor who plays him will be lending his talent to another piece of fiction that's also long meant a lot to me and that's also about surviving in a hostile world while making a decent home and family for yourself, Watership Down. I think John Boyega would be great as Hazel!
Wolf Family
Just playing around with the graphic novel format & representing animal lives. Dang, I've really gotta figure out a way of drawing that doesn't involve so many lines!

Well, we Yankees have certainly failed to make this year any better, haven't we?!?!?

Urgggggg.....well, in the first week of this administration, they've effectively implemented the first step of a Muslim ban, explicitly indicated that there's going to be a combination of church and state, ripped away funding for women's reproductive rights, made the first moves to take away health care from millions, emboldened nazis, brought two pipelines that promise to cause all sorts of harm back from the dead, put a gag law out on our scientists, fired the US attorney general for not going along with a decree that would support terrorists, yelled time and time again that the president is not to be criticized and that all "real" information comes from him alone, decided it would be a good idea to get rid of as many regulations as possible, etc. etc., etc., and generally done their best to make the USA into a fascist hellscape.

To the rest of the world, I'm so so sorry that you also have to deal with the atrocities my country seems to be hellbent on causing. To the rest of us, here's a few things we can do:

Unless the country ends up going into full-on dictator mode, our elected representatives are supposed to listen to the people and act accordingly. Find scripts and the numbers of who you can call here:

I'll keep you updated as to when and if the public comments line to the White House opens up. Currently, they're not taking any calls.

It's becoming more and more obvious that waaay too many U.S. politicians are willing to go along with fascism if it means they keep their seats of power. Real change is going to have to happen staring from the ground up. Here's a guide on how to organize and resist:…

Given that the neo-nazis of the U.S. are being increasingly emboldened by the current regime and are getting more and more violent, and given that American women are being further and further subject to a whole slew of laws meant to make them even more into second-class citizens (with all the horrors that implies), it's probably a good idea to learn some self-defense. Definitely keep your eyes out for any training with a instructor, but this seems like a pretty good start:…

A comment line is still open about this pipeline, which so far promises not only to bulldoze through a burial ground and poison drinking water but also set dogs, tear gas, rubber bullets, and a whole host of other evils against those resisting it. Let them know you find this awful.…

Everyone is going to suffer from this regime's policies in one way or another, wether it be through direct discrimination, defunding of federal programs for health, education, and safety, or the general incompetence of those now in charge. We need to resist it all, staring at the local level.…

There's a whole bunch of organizations that are doing their best in the ever-increasing struggle against the pure evil that the current regime is revealing themselves to be. Pick one and give what you can!
