After the disastrous first attempt at this drawing, I wanted to skip it and move on. But I couldn't give up the idea. So I came up with a simpler concept, featuring slightly different characters (that I could actually draw!). The joke still isn't entirely as funny as it is in my head, but it's a lot better than before.
Once again, this features characters from the lovely
. Luke is once more the unlucky climber, but this time his support is provided by Raydl. I think it would be quite within the Admiral's character to bet Luke that he couldn't climb "a simple rope". Nevermind that she purposefully has him blindfolded, and neglected to tell him exactly WHAT rope he is climbing. He's safe, though. Raydl is perfectly capable of catching him if his arms give out.

Raydl and microscopic-Luke belong to jocarra, whose characters may just be popping up in this series more in the future. I already found an awesome SCP that will work for her Corax, so that one will be next.

I mean, dunno if you know, but I'm sort of a sucker for picking on my characters (specifically Luke) so this was pretty much perfect XD

Hehe, also, I love how, like... unconcerned they look for his safety and wellbeing XD It's okay, though, Luke's always a good sport :3 Also like how you noticed that Raydl walks on her knuckles, keeping her claws nice and un-dulled

I had a lot of fun coming up with the idea. 
It's just the execution that almost fell flat. I tried to draw a Luke / Jayli version. But I couldn't get their faces right. Luke was actually...ok, somewhat. Jayli was just...not. If you really want to see the first draft, I can always upload it to my scraps.
But I am glad you like the new version! If I actually could draw Luke, there are a lot of other funny scenarios I'd draw him in. I'll definitely have to see if I can pull it off again sometime, if you'll let me continue to do so!

*chuckles* No worries - Jayli can be... temperamental, I've found :V Sometimes she likes being drawn, other times she'll have none of it, lol. I've found Raydl can be the same way, although that's gotten better since I've improved how I draw gryphons, so maybe I'm more acceptable now, haha.
