Description

This isn’t really a re-take or anything, just trying to expand the idea and concept of godfall making it more than just a simple mockup.


I also made sort of an Earthbound inspired UI.


Ruins Encounter:

Once you start the game, there is no intro or anything. Just cuts to the flowerbed room. There is no Flowey, Toriel, nor any monsters in the ruins. Once you make it to Toriel’s House, it will be completely dark inside. Going down into the ruins basement, you will freeze for a while before a silhouette of a hooded figure rushes towards you and instantly cuts into your first encounter with sans.


Sans’ fight consists of stiff, unpredictable, and shaky attacks, instead of dodging he will take hits with no health bar or anything appearing when hitting him only him starting to shake more and more as you do. After a few hits he’ll start to violently shake with weird, distorted sounds in playing in the background then shortcut away.



Snowdin/ “PAPYRUS” Encounter:

Basically a Yume Nikki drugtrip with an uncanny, disturbing looking Papyrus.


When encountering him, no matter what button you choose your only option is to pray and once you pray enough it instantly cuts to Frisk in fetal position crying. Only snapping back to their “usual self” once you move.



Waterfall Encounter:

Completely dark, you can encounter sans anywhere here +some monsters. His attacks will be less stiff and shaky but still unpredictable, plus he gets new knife related attacks.

After hitting him with enough attacks, he’ll stand there motionless for a while with distorted, pained wails of somebody repeating “i hate you” slowly fading in with sans and the wails completely disappearing too.



Hotland/True Lab/Alphys “Encounter”

In most of Hotland there will be nothing for you except a few monsters. When you go into the True Lab, going into the room with the DT Extractor Alphys will be there crying and sobbing to herself.


After killing her your soul will appear in a small, tight bullet board with a gigantic beam coming from the DT Extractor completely engulfing it and most of your screen then dissipating. Once the battle is over, the DT Extractor gone with some ripped wires dangling where it used to be.



Climax/Final Encounter:

Going into New Home, sirens will be blaring in the distance with them fading away once you enter the judgement hall, now gray and much darker. You’ll be frozen in place infront of sans for a while before instantly cutting to sans’ opening attack.


His attacks aren’t stiff anymore but much more shaky and unpredictable, also now being overly-aggresive and brutal. He can also take more hits now.

After attacking enough. Sans will then collapse into a pile of lifeless bones, leaving you completely alone in a dark, lonely Underground with your ability to reset gone.


You stay there… Awaiting for somebody, thinking some heavenly angel will come down and grant you freedom…



But eventually, you stop thinking…
