Bear Portrait: Nosmo King

A sexy bear enjoying the sun and the lake in the nude.

Nosmo King, has a unique place in this series. He's one of the few guys I met, via the project. I saw the picture of him online that this painting is based on (more on that in a moment) and liked it so much I contacted him, to ask him if I could include him in this series. He obviously said yes - and is as delightful a fellow as he is sexy. He sent me a good quality version of the picture I like as well as some potential others.

Something else that's unique - for this painting, I actually spliced together 2 different pictures to make this one. There's the original picture I contacted Nosmo about, which is the upper-half of his body. In that photo, he's wearing shorts. Then there's a second image, taken at the same time in the same place, but he's nude, which I used for the lower-half. I did this because I preferred the angle of his head and gesture of his body of the first one over all, but it was nice to get another nude into the series.
