I had a lot of fun painting this piece - there were so many wonderful pictures of Michael to choose from for the reference - half of which he was sticking his tongue out at the camera in. I think I captured his likeness and playful personality reasonably well. I played with the lighting some to give nice feeling of volume to the subject. It all came together rather well - and I hope you enjoy it too!
