Thaholan Royal Blackcoat

The Blackcoats are the Empress' & Royalty's faithful guard, chosen from the best of the armies, but tend to be a very small force. They also serve best as specialized persons best equipped for dealing with events such as flux outbreaks or eldritch anomalies, as well as internal affairs. They are known as expert marksman as well as swordsman, but are rarely seen on the battlefield except as special deployments for Royal matters. They are clad in extremely strong (and expensive) shadow/void armor, and are said to have a certain darkness about them, the warping effect of these metals slowly effecting their psyche.
