SPECIES STUDY: CENTUREON

Races:
Scutun: Scutun Centureon are a bright blue/dark blue color, have triangular ears, and are noted to have an adamantine based Diet. "un" races generally have stiff triangular shaped ears.
Heatun: Heatun Centureon are a pale brown color, have roughly triangular ears (though they are notably curved), and are noted to have an copper based Diet. "un" races generally have stiff triangular shaped ears.
Towun: Towun Centureon are a silver grey coloration, and feed primarily on aluminum and (REDACTED). "un" races generally have stiff triangular shaped ears.

Buckali:  Buckali Centureon are a mix of silver and dark grey, and have a diet based primarily upon iron. "ali" races are noted for their discolored, curved ears that have much more ability to pivot.
Pavisali: Pavisali Centureon are a dark blue color, have large diamond shape ears, and have a diet based primarily upon cobalt. "ali" races are noted for their discolored, curved ears that have much more ability to pivot.
Tarjali: Tarjali Centureon are a grey color, have large diamond shape ears that normally flop downwards, and have a diet based primarily upon aluminum. "ali" races are noted for their discolored, curved ears that have much more ability to pivot.

Nguunai: Tarjali Centureon are a mix of silver and black colors, have very large ears, and have a diet based primarily upon titanium. "ai' races are noted for having very large, and fairly flexible ears.
Kitrai: Kitrai Centureon are a black in color, have very large diamond shaped ears, and have a diet based primarily upon tungsten. "ai' races are noted for having very large, and fairly flexible ears.
Boullai: Centureon are a mix of silver and blue in color, have very large diamond shaped ears, and have a diet based primarily upon Bismuth, silver, and tin. "ai' races are noted for having very large, and fairly flexible ears. They are also noted to have iridescently colored dermal plates.

Natural Defenses:
Psychology: Being a sentient species, they can think, strategize, and barter for survival.
Teeth: Centureon have incredibly sharp, sturdy teeth, and acidic saliva meant for chewing through metals. Imagine what it would do to you!
Metallized bones: Centureon bones are quite strong, being lined with metals. They also have dermal plating for extra natural armor.
Brute Strength: They need to be really strong to even move their dense, metal packed body, and to be able to lift and consume metals. Tearing flesh is practically child's play in comparison.


 Psychology:
   Family: Determined through strength, the Patriarch (or Matriarch, depending on clan) may choose their mate through combat. It is understood that only those with the strength and skill to defeat one's opponent may rule over them. However, to properly maintain one's mate, they are expected to properly and judiciously train them to be of peak skill and strength, should another attempt to challenge for the mate. To step in and defend the mate during these combat rituals is to admit that one did not or could not train one's mate, and as such admit defeat prematurely. Kino are expected to be trained in whatever skills are known throughout the family line, and are not expected to fight over one's age group until maturing into Centinar. The Patriarch (or Matriarch) are responsible for the Kino until that point.
   Community: Centureon communities vary wildly depending on clan, but are highly militaristic and warrior focused, with the strongest (and usually most skilled) being the local leader. They may delegate other tasks as they wish. There is a very toxic, hostile culture between patriarchs here.
   Government: Centureon government consists of isolated clans ruled by the strongest and wisest of their clan. One must challenge the clan-master in a fight to the death to mantle them. Otherwise, infrastructure is scare and this race is hardly considered united.
   Culture: Their culture is fairly primitive, and revolves around raiding, combat, and such. 'Beating the crap out of people to get what you want'
   Etiquette: Unless you are an incredibly war-focused society, they think your culture sucks.
   Clothing: Most Centureon wear armor, never know when one needs it. The level of ornateness depends wildly.
   Naming: Unknown. Translations usually have clan names loosely based a round types of shield.
