Description
"One of the Magistrate of Anudian, the Theocratic rulers of the Rutarye kingdoms. There are currently five, four representing the four Rutarye kingdoms, and one representing the Nomads of the Goldwide. Historically, there used to be seven with two Magisters representing the Empire of Light and the humans of the East in accordance with Imperial Compact. For some time after the second Xulf outbreak and collapse of the Empire, the Maethrillarin of Agroaz held a nominal ambassadorial position that functioned similarly. All Magisters are required to be mages of considerable power, particularly skilled in light magic, and should under no circumstances practice the dark arts. They, like all practicing Rutarye are banned from wearing the color white as it is heretical in their faith (Seeing it as an attempt to match the light of Alturan)."
