While Palapagos United theoretically are very advanced, don’t be fooled. Even at their best, their industrial and logistical capacity cannot possibly compete with the demands of a standing military, so standards had to be drastically lowered to ensure a force was well supplied rather than given shiny paperweights. That and making extensive use of repurposed “liberated” equipment and the limited supply of ancient technology that only theoretically works. So for most pals, they’re getting old hand-me-down equipment or centuries out of date shit-tubes you can fire once or twice reliably.
