We need to stop demonizing teenagers for normal teenage biology.
What adults constantly label as "laziness" or "unruliness" in teenagers is just biology doing its thing. Teenagers naturally have later circadian rhythms, fluctuating energy levels, an increased need for mental stimulation, and more time alone to process a rapidly developing brain.
When we shame teenagers for sleeping late, being messy, or spending more time playing video games, we are shaming them for human biology.
And that's fucked-up.

It's a biological fact that teenagers are night owls.
During puberty, the circadian rhythm shifts forward by 1–3 hours, meaning teenagers do not feel naturally sleepy until later at night and do not function optimally early in the morning. It's scientifically proven that teenage brains aren't designed to function before 10am.
Sleep scientists have been screaming about this for
