Battle is an activity centered around combat, whether it is with other serrians or the world itself. Unlike many ARPGs, Battle is an activity that can be participated in with a group of more than two player-owned characters, and such groups are even encouraged as you reach the higher tiers of enemies. While battle is never going to be easy or without risk, we encourage you to collaborate and fight the dangerous beasts of the Expanse together! In this arpg, gear does not give virtual stat buffs. Instead, gear works more like a pokemon's type system: some armor is more resistant to some weapons, and some weapons do more of one damage type than another. Enemies will use weapons - natural and manmade - that do certain types of damage, and wear armor that resists certain types of damage, removing some of the 'damage points' that can be done to it. Even if you fail in a battle due to overwhelming odds, an enemy will always drop their Guaranteed Loot and at least one (1) stat point
