Hex - Aging Quest #3

Prompt - Memorable Moment:

Hex managed to track down and hunt a young reindeer. This winter season has been harsh and unforgiving, and hunting without a pack has proven to be a struggle. Thankfully, this young reindeer was alone and not very fast. At least not compared to Hex. But before she could drag the corpse somewhere where she can eat in peace, Nidhogg came crashing in through the trees and managed to snatch a leg from the reindeer. Hex tried to get it back from him, but only got a small chunk. To say that Hex was angry was an understatement. While Hex has always had an issue with trust, this moment solidified her skepticism of others, that in the real world she can only truly trust herself. Never rely on others.
