Okay, this might seem like the most far-out crossover ever, but I love these two films, and it's meant to be a birthday present for someone who also likes these two films, so yeah... this is the best I can come up with in one hour. Come on, it's a great study in contrasts... living vs non-living, old vs new, Pixar vs Dreamworks... no to mention it'd be an interesting scenario.

You know you want this to happen. :iconiloveitplz: So please tell me that I'm a lazy-butt for not colouring it in.

Happy birthday little_chef/vindeamer! :iconvindeamer:

Ha-ha. Very nice, dude! I love the little EVE in the background dueling with another dragon. =P

I'm not sure if you like critique or not, but, as a future tip, try keeping the legs on the same plane. In this composition, Toothless' left back leg should be on the same plane as his front left leg, but instead it's leaning too far to the right. There are exceptions to this rule (for example, if a character is crossing his legs), but in this case... it looks a bit odd. That's just my two cent's worth.

In any case, good job! :D

I don't mind criticisms at all, Mitch! In fact, I welcome them, as it does get a little 'boring' to get compliments all the time!

The 'other dragon' is a Terrible Terror... not sure if it's the same one that tormented Tuffnut in the movie! XD

Thanks for pointing out Toothless' 'crossing legs'! I didn't notice that until you mentioned it, and I guess that proves you a need a fresh set of 'observer eyes' to highlight your flaws.

I'm glad you liked it! :D

Ah! Well, it's nice to know that you accept them. We're in the same boat in that respect.

I thought so! Heheh. And, yep, that was the same one who attacked Tuffnut.

Not a problem! Us artists have to help each other out. :aww:

Yes, indeed! :D

Ahhhaaa this is too cute ;U; Thank you sooo much!! :tighthug:

And not too shabby for like, a one-hour drawing. xDDD Usually by the end of one hour of drawing for me, I only have the skeleton of my picture, so kudos to you for whipping it all up in that short of a time. 8DD

Lol I love EVE getting all defensive at the little Terrible Terror in the background, hahaaa!! xD And I can totally imagine WALL-E making those soft cooing noises as he reaches out to touch Toothless' nose... it's all so perfect and adorable!

Nah, you're not lazy for not coloring it in. xDD Most of the time my drawings end up never getting colored, either, so don't feel bad. Though, be my guest and color it later if you want, I'd love to see it in color! 8DD

Again thank you so much!

I'm really glad you like it, little_chef!

I doodle a lot, and I'm usually impatient when it comes to sketching, so that's why I can whip it up so fast. It's usually at the expense of detail, but I find if I go slow, the lines look less 'natural' and more 'stiff', so it's a fight between 'flow' and 'precision' for me.

I have lotsa linework-artpieces that I'm too lazy to colour in... I'll upload 'em when I'm feeling less embarassed. :)

Anyway, you're welcome, and I hope you had a great birthday!

Haha, you really need to learn patience in drawing! I'm very impatient myself, but usually when I get that way, I notice my work isn't as nice as the times where I spent time on my artwork.

I know what you mean though about trying to get your lines to look smooth and fluid... I had that issue a LOT back when I really started to pursue drawing. Fluidity only comes with being familiar with the pencil, so all I can say is practice, practice, practice, and it will definitely become second-nature and much easier after a while! 8D

I had an AWESOME birthday, thanks to you guys and your awesome presents and birthday wishes! :glomp: Thanks for making it super special!

This is super cool! *faves* I like it!

I also made a birthday present for :iconvindeamer:. It's more of a wallpaper, however.
