The tiny man sat in the middle of the giant couch cushion. Over the couches armrest he could see the flakes of the seasons first snowfall drifting by through the window. Despite the warmth of the air around him he started to shiver. It had been so long since he last had to face the full force of winter on his own. He could feel the long distant wicked winds and chilling waters of the wild world outside taunting him. He remembered the struggles he had to endure leading up to and surviving through the winters that never got easier. He felt nauseous and disoriented and his head started to spiral till he found himself lost in that blizzard again. The white blanket of snow stretched in all directions as the thick snowfall impaired his vision. The harsh winter winds clawing at his skin as a frigid chill seeped deep into his bones sapping all his strength. He collapsed into the freshly fallen snow as the flakes the size of his head started to pile up on him. As his vision started to go black,

The Mother leaned forward, the sweet aroma of all her mixed plants filled her nose. All sorts of different sweet, bitter and savory were mixed together in the air. She briefly paused to take it all in, a wonderful feeling of Bliss washed over her and reminded her just how much she loved the feeling of peace her garden brought her. But for the little bugs below peace, it was anything but. In the dirt at the base of the flower bed, where the lawn ends and garden begins the three shrunken people are still reeling and recovering from their fall after almost being crushed under the oblivious giant woman’s hand. Body’s aching all over and while no bones were broken their spirits certainly were. Staggering to their feet they turn around to see the colossal fingers of the Giant curled inwards digging into the dirt cliff face.
