Welcome, welcome!

My name is Sal/ 'Cloak - thedarkcloak and I am Chicago-born fulltime artist, illustrator, concept designer, and all around polymath audio & visual artist with over 18 years of experience. I work on local and international film, game, print, and theater projects.

With me comes a skill set and wide breadth of experience which I bring to any creative pipeline or project I work on. Storytelling and creative problem solving are essentially at the core of my passion and integral to whether I am working on a project or teaching via my program - The Artist DOING/BEING Mentorship (available via Patreon).

Beyond that, I also enjoy creating and composing music as well as sound design, often times doing so with other members of my band.

I am a Creative Ronin, Renaissance Polymath & Multidisciplinary Artist for hire - creating things for Page, Stage, Speaker, Screen, Sculpt, Skin - and Polygon.

However I do not crotchet or knit. In fact, I often get the two mixed up.
