JOURNEY OF AGES CHAPTER 2
The morning sun soon grew old and sunk back into the flat horizon, painting the landscape with pink and orange hues. The world was starting to grow colder and colder by the minute, and the passing winds sent chills down a little girl’s spine. She moved onward, her invisible friend kept pushing her to somewhere safer.
It was a funny thought in times like these. A safe place. A safe place where no monster or harm or hunger or pain could reach. A place like that truly would be a miracle, but everybody knew it was just fantasy. A joke, even.
