Unfinished Artwork, Old Projects and Artwork
Exploring the realm of visual art and comedy
Bladerunner
This is a collection of images from a series I made for YouTube a few years back called 'Having Endless Fun with AI Software'.
The series would look at the funnier side of AI and would often put various Hollywood celebrities and familiar faces in either movie spoofs or just plain hilarious and bizarre situations.
The series sadly didn't catch on as well as I'd hoped and I wasn't originally planning on uploading these on here as I wanted my DeviantArt account to be a reflection of my work and not just an AI art dump page, but as this artwork has just been sitting on my hard drive this entire time doing nothing and some of it [in my opinion] is actually really good I decided to upscale the image quality and share these on here for anyone who's interested.
These were made back when AI art was still finding it's footing so a lot of these, especially from the earlier series can be a bit jank in quality, but I wanted to share all of them so you can see how quickly Ai art evolved from a cheap gimmick into the powerhouse it is today.
A lot of people are against AI art but personally I find the technology behind it all really fascinating.
The way I used to describe AI art was like having access to a Google image search from a parallel dimension but I think a more accurate term is it's more like peaking into the mind of an AI that's trying to learn to think like a human being.
Personally I find all the weird flaws and imperfections fascinating and I feel the way an AI's mind works is not too different from our own when we're dreaming. We too don't tend to notice the odd imperfections and weird oddities when we're asleep and lucid and it really is interesting the way AI helps give a glimpse into a mind that's not too dissimilar to our own when we're lucid.
At least that's my interpretation of it all anyway.
Either way, enjoy the art. It's a mixture of high quality masterpieces and flawed oddities but I'm sure you'll find something interesting.
