The Ice Cave

Ok..it needs to be said...I am a total sucker for traditional fantasy in most respects. This particular piece was commissioned earlier this year by a D&D player who wanted his character to come to life on canvas. I enjoyed this work since I love the genre and I always enjoy painting on canvas (although acrylic is a tough medium to work with for me since it dries practically before the brush touches the surface). There are 2 more commisioned works to follow this one all involving the same subject. The 3 part series is entitled "The Paladin's Quest". This is actually number 2 in the series and is entitled "The Ice Cave". I really hope you enjoy the work and look forward to posting the other two the minute I finish the paintings.
