This semester is coming to a close! Finally.
Let's see, what do I have coming as far as uploads?
Life Drawing figure studies
SmartPlate lithography prints
Aluminum plate lithography prints
Quite a few of the SmartPlate prints actually.
This summer I'm teaching scratchboard at our local Multi Arts Center, so I'll be brushing up on those skills soon. I'm also doing an independent study in printmaking, so I'll be working on linoleum and woodcuts a lot, I think. This fall, I'm taking Printmaking Studio, Watercolor II and Advanced Drawing, so I'll have a LOT of work coming in the next year!
Well, this semester is finished and it wrapped up great. I got an A in all of my studio classes (well, two As and one suspected A, we'll see for sure Monday). I have so much work to photograph and post. I just wish it were January so I could buy my fancy new camera and get proper documentation of my work.
Coming your way:
5 watercolor paintings
1 woodblock print
1 linoleum print
1 nickel-silver ring
1 handcrafted chain mail necklace and copper/stone setting pendant.
Hello all!
I am happier than ever with my decision to major in Studio Art and haven't looked back. I've changed my major a few times (as evidenced by the fact that I should have graduated long ago!) and never really missed my old major. If I had to change to another major now, I think a large part of me would disintegrate. This is what I should have done all along! Although my path to get here has been fun and being a what amounts to a junior at 23 doesn't really bother me. My two years of hard sciences combined with two years away from school working full time have informed my artwork a lot. I honestly probably wouldn't do anything differen
Thanks for the fav! And hurray, you are updating once again. I've checked back occasionally to see if you were continuing your art. I'm glad to see you're still putting stuff up on dA for us to admire.
