You will never see me defend communism outside of an anarcho-communist perspective. Obviously government sponsored communism was horribly damaging, but I would argue that the effects of that system do not reflect the aim of the Communist Manifesto. The effects of capitalism, on the other hand, accurately reflects the views of Ms. Rand. The Communist Manifesto believed that humans could live in equality. Rand celebrates inequality. As such, I view her work as more damaging.
Your understanding of anarchism is unfortunately lacking. I will respond to this post at length when I have time to do so. Likely this weekend.
