Unfortunately in drawing communities like dA where anything can be posted, art theft happens. People steal good pictures from other dA and elsewhere and make it their own, and are left unreported. But now you can quickly find out if an artwork is stolen by looking at these guidelines.
***Things to look for that in an art theft***
1. You've seen the original somewhere, and it looks exactly the same as the stolen work. The work is edited minimally.
2. The taken work is not credited, and even worse, claims it is theirs.
3. You see a remarkable variety of styles that don't relate to each other. Okay, some people draw various of styles, but if it's in a way that's dead obvious, chances are the artwork is taken.
