Hello everyone,
There is a new technique for stealing your DeviantArt account that I want to share, because I almost fell for it even though I am a computer science student/nerd lol (thanks to @ThePhantomInRed for stopping me faster than I would have realized)

But I will give you a TLDR:
Someone (probably a hacked account) will randomly message you that they “accidentally reported your account” and tells you to contact “DeviantArt Support” on Discord, which is obviously a fake account. They will use fake email support and transactions screenshots. On Discord they would probably somehow ask for your credentials or give you a fake DeviantArt link to login. The screenshots below show how the scam works so people can recognize it.
Don't give your sensibile information to anyone and stay safe!
Thanks to an anonymous user, I got 10 new (but incomplete) artists in my archive from people with deactivated DA accounts, including:

2 new archives for you all in my archiving repository today:
- 4chan archives: This includes all GTS pics in all /hr threads from 4chan ever made. It may seem useless but there are a lot of old pics there from deactivated/deleted artists or even current ones that had to delete their pics, so make sure to check it out
- @PonticPrince (who recently announced his decision to leave the community). Everything from his account should be there and I will also try to find his old pics from his other "Mithridates" account soon or he will upload them to his current account, so be on the lookout for that

Due to the new terrible and super restrictive DA rules regarding downloading, my archiving abilities are much more limited. GalleryDL surprisingly still works, but only by downloading image previews instead of the full resolution ones (by using the download button).
Because of this, moving forward from today, many downloaded pics from me on my archive/DA may not be at full resolution. For more important artists/works, I will try using the download limit I have available, but it's tiny. Maybe a workaround will be found one day, but it's still a big "middle finger" to us that questions my future on this platform
Some super sad news today: @IncognitoSize's account just got deactivated, a copyright strike on the edits with Aishah Sofey...
I have saved everything up to 15 February so if you want to see his stuff, make sure to checkout my archive
