It was spring in the mountains and a bright and boisterous Selene was just turning two. The filly was bright and inquisitive despite being rather soft-spoken overall. Though she didn’t have many friends she did have her loving and devoted adopted momma, Isil. Isil was grazing in the open spring meadow at the foothills of vast and looming mountains. Quiet and alone save for Selene who dozed on her side nearby. There was such peaceful silence until Selene stirred, yawning and stretching as she pulled herself to her feet. Trotting over to nuzzle Isil’s neck with a grin. “Morning mother! May we resume my lessons today?” She asked, her horning glowing slightly with the magic that coursed through her.
