If you’ve been regularly following my art posts on Deviant Art you probably know me best as someone who is into the MLP fandom. I post MLP comiscs, and MLP models and MLP sculptures, and if you’re a haytreon backer I do a fair amount of MLP erotica. If you read my journals, you will also that I produce a lot of non-MLP content through other sites, mostly in the cosplay or sewing spheres, that I can’t really post it here because it’s too recognizable, and I’d rather not invite the hassle that I get from liberals on my other channels here by cross posting. Intrinsically, there's nothing wrong with posting mostly MLP content, it's still a show that I love and I'm still an active member of the fandom, but I can't help but feel that this channel has become a little stale and a little predictable, so after all of these years of doing mostly the same thing, I’m going to do something a little different. I was going through some of my old pictures and I came across a couple from when I was making Mining at Night Mining at Night. I originally took them for my Haytreon subscribers, but it's been a couple of years since I made the original model, so it's probably OK to post them up here for free. Anywho. Like most of my Diorama, this one started out as a block of blue HD crafting foam. I used a resin cast of one of my existing models to gauge the size for the base and then cut it out with a hot wire. This one was a book nook so there wasn't much room for maneuver but I needed something to help me visualize how much space I had for the details of the diorama.
