I love Realist novels because it's like travelling in time to see how life was in the author's time (XIX century), knowing how was people's daily lives, what were their feelings and impressions of the world... Not just what we learn in an ordinary History textbook. My personal favorite books are Madame Bovary, Oliver Twist and The Bet (technically a short story... by Chekhov).

What if someone was both a realist and a romanticist?

A mix of the two is indeed possible. I'm going to make more of these stamps soon. :)
