Well I couldn't stand having this thing in my gallery fav.me/d90u6mq
(even though it's only my old piece of work and back then it was a masterpiece for me and I left it too see my progress) so I decided to draw it all over again, and well... the difference is... huge XD
Yup, yup, it's the same Jordi Chin.
AND FIRST ACTUAL FANART THIS YEAR AFTER NOT DRAWING ANY BECAUSE I CAN'T DO FANARTS XD I like the final result though. Took me about 5 hours to make? I'm not sure now. Something like that...
Originally, his pose was supposed to be different, framed like in the original drawing, but with a background of a city street at night, but then I thought it's boring and I decided to do a second version with close-up and a city street in the background too which now is more interesting in my opinion The background is based on a picture and if I'm not mistaking, it's an actual street in Beijing I really wanted to put those Chinese words in this artwork and so I thought of setting the scene in a Chinese city (and mostly because of Jordi )
The word on the pink sign right behind Jordi is actually a word from the English title of the drawing, translated into Chinese:
Fragrance - 香味
And also, here's an important additional information about the scene... The pink sign was an object added by me and it's attached to a building I also added. It was supposed to be a café so there'd actually be a reason for Jordi to drink coffee and sit by the table. And smoke his cigarette after his job (anyone, who played Watch Dogs knows what Jordi's job is) And of course, the other words further in the background are not very readable or a bit blurred, I wanted to show the effect of perspective, and yes I know that those words may not be correct, I am aware of that XD
Also, the style in this drawing is different than I usually do (mostly because I made this drawing using Medibang Paint Pro for the first time ever). It all began of a rough sketch and then colors, and I thought that the rough lines and the way I colored it actually give and show a nice mood and vibe. So I left it like that and did rest of the effects and details.
