Bee Sculpture Back

Lil' wire stinger.

I had to make a sculpture for an online class about an issue, so I chose bees dying and that being bad news for our ecosystem and agriculture. I mainly used air dry clay and acrylic paints. The planet's base is a foam sphere I cut in half, and then I used some wire and other stuff.

Definitely a learning experience with this. I never do traditional stuff, let alone 3D. Clay and paint are two things I hardly touch so there was a lot of error and a lot of winging it. At least this is stable and secure and isn't going to fall apart if someone walks by it like some other 3D online class assignments I've done. It's far from perfect but I'm pretty happy with it.
