Thanks to gromyko for the opportunity to be part of this dream.
New members, new ideas, we are working to support the club and to continue the legacy of the founder and the previous administrations.

Wake up and dream!

:icongromyko: Gromyko

Much have changed since ive entered the realms of this club, and I'm proud to state that it is all for the Better!!!..james119 had been a good friend of mine, and it is really a priviledge to serve alongside three other moderators to promote, raise, and support the Surrealist/Fantastic/visionary Art and artists via this Club......my thoughts for the betterment of this club will always be consulted before being implemented...Concerning about the recent rules for accepting/rejecting/removing of Deviations my standards are purely based on my own experience as a practitioner of pure and applied surrealism, and that of james koenhline, for I believe we have similar visions, though mine is way shallow than his, but my recent explorations have given me the power to judge what i believe is "surreal" or not...meaning to say I will give my decisions to other moderators, prove my points why i chose/reject/remove the piece respectfully, and with consistent point of defense...

I may not be well educated in art history, but i did my homework when it comes to Surrealist and surreal related topics so if anyone wishes to ask or query me i will be honored to answer to you...

My views on modern art specially surrealism have metamorphosed and are still changing, embracing other philosophies, so know that I am eccentric enough to accept your works should i find a philosophical reason that it had in order to be a candidate deserving posts in our gallery, or in my regular Exceptional surrealist feature...

Ideas and thoughts about everything around the surrealist sun will be entertained by me...

Long live The Surreal Arts Club!!!

The great swindle to put it politely was a rhetorical load of crap.Anything can be made to make sense if started with an incorrect position of knowledge and fact.I only have to look at how many people have been made to believe the Iraq war was started for reasons of freedom.
Torquinox's avatar
So which do you think is correct? Claims of global warming due to greenhouse gas or the oppositional movie?

The current size of the hole in the ozone over Antarctica is the size of the continental US.This was a cut and paste film that ignored realities that we have known for some time. The great Us aquifer will run out in 15 years affecting 15 states. They have the highest rate of skin cancer in the world and drink recycled gray water in Australia.Global warming interferes with our weather cycles in many major ways.Far too many for me to list but the anti crowd seizes on a few ideas and pushes them on those who will not do any research. The propaganda used is extraordinary. The utility company was never contacted about Gores hydro bill.It was a totally bogus report but like the claims that he stated he invented the internet ,people will go right on believing bull.Check the speech he made on the internet. He claimed he was the guiding force in its development and he was.It was through his efforts in the senate that it was developed. In Canada we see direct effects in our fishing industry off the Grand Banks because of cold fresh water from the arctic halting the natural flow of warm salt water. What pisses me off is there are methods to at least halt it.The use of algae is the most effective tool that there is.It cleans and produces huge amounts of clean air compared to trees.Governments are aware of measures that can be taken but do not act because they are beholden to large business interests.Your next presidential election will see 1 billion spent on it by two candidates.tell me they don't owe a favour or two.

I agree with you. No matter who wins the election, our next president will still be a puppet of big business and private interests. KI would not expect much help from the next US president. Those huge campaign budgets make it so that whoever wins is corrupted by the process, and our congressional reps are just as bad.

Thank you so much for mentioning the "global warming swindle"! Specially for those artists interested in the theme of global warming an absolutely must!
Have a great time

It isn't fear of sticks, in case that's what you're thinking.

Haha! I read your earlier journals, though. Besides, I'm feverishly working on an essay about hypermodernism and the contemporary art world. Ironically, I don't have time or spare brain capacity to poke people now.

You'll have to point me to it when you're done. I don't think I know what hypermodernism is.
