After almost three years, 325 posts, a name change, and several hundred favs, I've gotten to 100 watchers, because a combination of hard work ethics, staying up until 4 AM working on a project, and my sides hurting when I find something odd and hilarious struck home and allowed it to occur.

Mitsubishi Ki-67-Ia [JA-OTL]
The flying dragon utilized late in World War II by Japan.

Built as a "heavy" bomber according to Japanese standards, it was actually a medium bomber in reality, given the payload it could carry (maximum of 1070kg in bomb bay vs 6000lb in the North American B-25 medium bomber)

The result of a 1941 request by the Imperial Japanese Air Service for a successor to the Nakajima Ki-49 Donryu medium bomber, it was to be heavily armed and able to withstand heavy damage over the Siberian-Manchurian borders in a hypothetical conflict with the Soviet Union. It was powered by the firm's own Ha-104 18-cylinder radial engine, and had a crew of up to eight people. As it was fitted with armor and self-sealing fuel tanks, it was one of the most damage-resistant aircraft the Japanese used during the war. It also contained excellent rate of climb, maneuverability in dives, and agility. These traits would ultimately lead to the Mitsubishi Ki-109 heavy fighter, armed with a 75mm Type 88 anti-aircraft cannon.

A total amount of 767 airframes, including prototypes, were built, the majority by Mitsubishi.
North American P-74A-1NA [US-AH]
High-altitude fighter escort / bomber interceptor. (yes, l’il words near the cockpit is named after the Twi’lek ace pilot/mother because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Concieved by North American Aviation in response to the alleged development of the Nakajima Ki-87 and later the Kawanishi J6K1 fighters in 1943-1944, it was later expanded into the bomber hunting realm after reports circulated of the Nakajima G8N / G10N strategic bombers and the Army’s Kawasaki Ki-91 heavy bomber entering service. These three bombers were capable of bombing the Marianas, where the majority of the B-29s based in the Pacific was located at, or in the case of the G10N, where it was capable of bombing the United States.

Powered by a Pratt & Whitney H-3130 32-cylinder H-type engine rated at almost 3000hp driven by two contra-rotating propellers with four blades each, it was renowned for it’s rate of climb, armour, and speed.

Due to it’s role, armament was heavy; it consisted of a 37mm M10 cannon firing through the propeller hub, alongside with 4x 20mm AN/M3 cannons in the wing panels, but the 20mm cannons were dropped for 8x 12.7mm AN/M2 machine guns. While it shared the range of a B-24M heavy bomber, it could be outfitted with drop tanks to further extend it’s range; thus why P-74s were used from Iwo Jima, not Okinawa like most fighters of the USAAF in the Pacific.
Supermarine 355 Spitfire Mk. Vb [GB-OTL]
Specialized seaplane adaptation of the Spitfire Mk. V with the Rolls-Royce Merlin 61 12-cylinder inline engine, a four-bladed propeller, and a pair of floats almost 8 meters long.

Originally for use against German supply convoys, W3760 first flew in October 1942, and was later strengthened by two more conversions, EP751 and EP754. Intended for use in hidden bases scattered in the Dodecanese Islands, it later operated from the Great Bitter Lake within the Suez Canal after no other role can be used for them following the islands' capture by the Germans.

Specifications for the conversion included a maximum speed of 324 mph (521 km/h) at 19,500 ft (521 km/h at 5,943 m), a maximum rate of climb of 2,450 ft/min at 15,500 ft (12.45 m/s at 4,724 m) and an estimated service ceiling of 33,400 ft (10,180 m).

Which Japanese client/puppet state should I do as part of next year's project?
